And she stared at me as if i asked her something crazy, turns out someone ordered one for her once and she just kept ordering it like that (who knows for how long, i wonder how some people go through life without asking questions.) it was 2008 and i still bring it up everytime we are talking about clueless customers, also not coffe related someone asked me for a caprese salad but with very little caprese (turns out he meant basil) and in poland if you ask for a 'double' g&t they bring you two glasses with (presumably double shot) gin and ice and tonic on the side.very confusing, but looking at the price i didnt complain about smashing a 4-shot in the airport bar 10 minutes before the gate is shown.and then my favourite one is the 'just a coffee' which the you have to decode as americano latte or espresso, and most likely it will not be hot enough, too milky or too little milk and too sugar too little sugar, imagine going in a restaurant and ask the waiter 'just some food'.This is an experience meant to be savored among friends and family.
